Chip Chandler's Story...
SEE VIDEO ALSO ON THIS PAGE!

Meet Chip Chandler, he has the head of a big dog and the body of a Basset Hound; he is so cute he looks like a cartoon character! What a wonderful boy he is, so very kind and gentle, very calm and mature in his behavior which makes him a great dog for any type situation including households w young children. He is fantastic with all sized dogs and walks well on leash. Chip Chandler about 4-5 years old and weighs 40 pounds and is VERY low to the ground. He is already neutered, up to date with shots, and micro-chipped. Chip has been attending events as a support dog for people to pet, (check out his video!) when he is at the finish line at the 5k events “Run for Hope." No, he did not run the 5k, (it’s not his style to work out like that; we cut around the corner and join the runners to pass the finish line and sure enough, Chip got his very own medal even though he did not officially run the entire 5K, more like 0.05k. He was there to be petted and get belly rubs which is his favorite thing to do!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chip Chandler, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Basset Hound for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Basset Hound breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
