Teddy's Story...
As you can tell by looking at my picture, I'm just a cutie!! I have the personality to back up the looks as well. I love to play with the other kitties in foster care especially the younger ones. They have taught me to climb on the cat trees and to sleep on the bed with my foster family so I'm OK in foster care until my forever home is found. I am negative for FIV, FELV,and HW. I have age appropriate shots and will go to my new home with a neuter surgery certificate that can be used at a local vet in Billerica. I would love to go to a home that already has another friendly young kitty as I have never been alone or to someone who is around most of the time to lavish me with love and kisses. By the way, my birthday is Dec 19, 2014.

Please note: All cats and kittens require an on-line adoption application be completed and sent BEFORE consideration for adoption can take place. On-line applications at www.billericacatcarecoalition.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Teddy, a N. Billerica Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in N. Billerica, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in N. Billerica.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in N. Billerica already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a N. Billerica breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in N. Billerica paves the way for another one to be saved.
