Mini's Story...
Hi! I am Mini and I am a 5 month old Female Shepherd Mix. I was found in a ditch with my sister Milli. We were so scared and starving. Those days are behind us now as we are living in a great foster home. We were initially very shy and uncertain what lay ahead of us. I learned home life very quickly and have become a favorite of all the dogs in my foster home. I love to be held and cuddled. Foster Mom says that I am an extremely curious, intelligent, playful puppy. I am crate trained. I get along good with Adults both Male and Female. As I am Very social I would be best with another dog. We will be taking a long trip from Georgia to Connecticut soon to meet lots of wonderful folks at something called an Adoption Event .

Mini will be coming to our April Event at the Durham Fair Grounds - Cow Palace - Town House Road - Durham, CT. April 11th & 12th from 10am - 4pm. If you are interested in applying for Mini, please click the link in the side bar to take you to our site. All application information is available along with all the other dogs coming to our event.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mini, a Chester Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Chester, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Chester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chester paves the way for another one to be saved.
