My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet girl will make a wonderful family companion. She is friendly with people of all ages and gets along well with other pets. She is really just a sweetheart, well behaved in the home, fun to be out and about with and just so affectionate and loving. She would do well in just about any situation and could be a good choice for a first time dog owner. Fluffy is approximately 2 - 3 years old and currently weighs 21 lbs.

Here is what Fluffy's foster family had to say:

Fluffy is a very affectionate dog and loves to cuddle. She is very comfortable on furniture and in the household. Her favourite part of the day is going for walks and she will be tuckered out for a couple hours afterwards. Getting her leash on and the first few minutes of the walk can be very interesting as she tries to grab the leash and walk herself. This soon ends and she walks very well. Grooming may need to be kept up with, due to her wiry fur. She loves to play with toys but is currently confused about what she is supposed to do with a bone so she tends to hide them. Fluffy is very loving towards everyone she meets and we will miss her very much!

She is very sociable, and loves everyone she meets. She had a couple experiences with children on our walks and they went great, she was very gentle. She growls in a playful way sometimes when we play with her, and she occasionally will bark at things passing by the window. She is anything but shy! She makes sure everyone in the room pets her. She hasn't had any exposure to animals at home. She does bark at passing dogs on our walks, but once they meet each other they sniff it out and they get along great. I think she would be fine with another dog friend in the home.

Passing trucks startle her slightly and sudden loud noises make her a little skittish. She loves to curl up and cuddle, but also loves to go on adventures either walking or car rides. She does enjoy some alone time to nap after her walks. She is normally pretty quiet, but will occasionally bark at things passing in the window. She is however easily distracted! She is about moderate for energy, she gets super excited and rambunctious for walks, but also loves to lounge around the house. She is very low shedding.

She pretty much knows all basic commands, but some work may still be needed. She does go around sniffing the floor, but doesn't get in to anything she shouldn't. She is fully house trained and there have been no accidents at all! She normally goes and sits at the door when she wants to go out. She willingly goes in the crate when she would be left alone, but has only been in there for a maximum of 4 hours. She takes it well, but does get very excited when you return. She probably wouldn't need a crate in her new home as she can be fully trusted not to get into anything she shouldn't. Fluffy walks well on a leash, but does get very excited at the beginning of her walks. She tends to bite on to the leash and "walk herself" while jumping in circles. This usually results in her getting all tangled, but this only lasts for a minute before she calms down and walks perfectly. There is no door bolting or fence digging! She enjoys car rides, but prefers to sit in the front on someones lap.

This little lady is definitely a cuddler! She loves affection and meeting new people. Walks are very important to Fluffy and are probably her favourite part of the day! Her fur can get a little wild (We are guessing that's where her name came from!) so regular grooming may be needed. Overall, she easily adjusted to her foster home and hasn't had any issues.

Fluffy is an ideal companion. She loves cuddles and showing you how much she loves you. She loves going new places and meeting new people. She doesn't have any other furry friends or children at home with her, but with such a sweet temperament we can't see either of these being an issue! Fluffy would be the perfect addition to any family who is willing to give her the attention that she deserves.

If you would like to make this sweet girl a part of your family, please submit an application for consideration.
