Hi everyone! Meet Richard! Richard, brother to Pete, came to us several years ago when he was a wee puppy, left at our gate in a cardboard box. Richard and his brother are nearly twins, but Richard's two-toned brown coat and distinct white marking from his chin to his chest sets him apart. Unlike his brother, Richard doesn't walk well on a leash, something that we could really use some volunteers help with. He is not challenging or aggressive, just timid and unsure. Richard is very playful in the yards, and while he hasn't quite figured out how to play fetch, you can see that he really wants to! It's so cute! But, getting him to a yard can be tough, because he just doesn't understand the whole leash thing quite yet.
Richard is a very sweet and submissive pup that adores smiling at the camera (see his album) and love the feel of soft grass on his belly.
Richard could really use some volunteers to take him out, snuggle with him and help him understand that a leash, and the people attached to it, are the best thing ever!
