**ADOPTION PENDING** **SPECIAL NEEDS!!** Miley is from a PA shelter and was flown to PDX to get help. She has a spinal cord injury from an unknown source, but most likely from being hit by a car. We all know that these types of cases don't have much of a chance in the shelter system. But this sweet girl has spunk. She has drive. And she has the will to live. She is about a year old and deserves to be able to walk and run like every other beagle. She has had a difficult time maintaining her balance at times, but through physical therapy and acupuncture at a veterinary rehab clinic, little Miley has gained better control and it has helped her learn to walk again. Miley has been doing underwater therapy and water treadmill at the rehab center. She is quite the little popular girl there! She is now able to stand for long periods of time and she has started RUNNING!!! She's still wabbly but so much better! Keeping her quiet is the hardest part for this little puppy.
