Snickers's Story...
This gorgeous little 6 pound, 6 week old girl was born to a stray mama in a bad part of Birmingham. She is being vetted and spoiled in a foster home that is also in Birmingham, AL. Snickers will be available for adoption in Mid April after she is healthy and spayed. She is anxious to relocate, so distance is not a problem. To apply or get more information, please contact info@forrescue.net Thank you so much for supporting rescue!
** We are currently unable to adopt to MA residents due to state regulations. **

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Snickers, a Hamburg Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler puppy from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
