Mason's Story...
Mason's a sweet boy that is all ready to explore your house. A gentle cat with a docile friendly personality Mason is a little shy when you first meet him but warms up quickly and loves to get pet. Mason gets along with other cats - especially his brother Murphy. Mason and his brother Murphy were surrendered to be euthanized for no reason....luckily the vet decided to give these two sweet boys a second chance. Now they are with HOPE looking for their forever family. Just like his brother, Mason loves to snuggle - he can't wait to find a forever home where he can offer lots of love and cuddles. It would be wonderful if Mason and Murphy could be adopted together but not necessary.

Mason is about 8-10 months old (as of 3/9/2015), is neutered, up to date on his shots and negative for FIV and FeLV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mason, a Wilton Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Wilton, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Wilton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wilton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wilton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wilton paves the way for another one to be saved.
