Purdy's Story...
Sweet Purdy is an 8 year old Rottweiler and Labrodor mix. Unfortunately Purdy was neglected for several years but you would never know. She is the perfect mellow lady. In her foster home she is house trained and does great on her leash. She would love nothing more than to spend her days snuggling with her humans as she loves to sleep and lounge. She does well with dogs and plays with the other dogsin her foster home. She is great with children and her foster mom thinks she would do well with cats as well. She's a very sweet girl looking for a loving home to be spoiled in the rest of her life.

If you would like more information about Purdy or would like to meet her, please email us at kcpetfinder@hotmail.com. Adoption fee is $175. All adoptable dogs are up to date on shots, spayed or neutered, and heartworm tested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Purdy, a Overland Park Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Rottweiler/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
