Cena's Info...

Cena's Story...
Case #10800. Cena was born March, 2014. This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00.

She was adopted but sadly because of a family member's allergies, she had to be returned. The former adopter wrote the following: "Cena/ Claret is a 1 year old that has a heart of gold. She is very playful and loves walks. She also loves a good belly rub and is good at relaxing and just hanging out at home. She is already house broken and kennel trained. She would love a yard to play in but is also really good at living in an apartment. She does really well with car rides, especially when it involves going to the dog park. She loves children and dogs. She is looking for a home that is filled with love. She is spayed and is current on all vaccinations except for rabies."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cena, a Slidell Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Slidell, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Slidell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Slidell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Slidell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Slidell paves the way for another one to be saved.
