Thumper a/k/a Shaggy's Story...

ID #3814 . Male . Thumper a/k/a Shaggy

Thumper is all handsome.

He does have some behavioral issues we are working with him for at this time.

We can NOT recommend him for a home with children.

He does walk well on a lead.

When he is in his temporary home he is less than a sweetheart.

However, when Sam one of the caretakers got him out in the front yard he was a sweetheart again.

Thumper is ready for his very own Forever Home.

Due to the large number of furry babies housed at the shelter and more coming in daily, we are only posting basic information.

Additional photographs and details available upon request.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thumper a/k/a Shaggy, a Corinth Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Corinth, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Corinth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Corinth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Corinth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Corinth paves the way for another one to be saved.
