Liam's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Liam's Story...
Liam is one of the biggest sweethearts you’ll ever meet. He needed extra care as an infant, so he appreciates his humans. He is timid when it comes to playing with kitties who are too rough, but loves playing with dogs. He is an adventurous kitten who LOVES to roam. His ideal sleeping arrangement is warm and soft, often on the heater, in the sunlight, or on a lap. Liam is the perfect kitty for a home with gentle kitties, dogs, and kids. The adoption fee for kittens under 5 months is $80, which includes spay/neuter, two distemper shots, rabies vaccination (if over 16 weeks), FELV testing, deworming, and microchip. Get two for only $130!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Liam, a Des Moines Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Des Moines, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Des Moines.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Des Moines already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Des Moines breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Des Moines paves the way for another one to be saved.
