Tate's Story...
Hi, I'm Tate von Tasha! I'm an adorable 9 week old puppy waiting for my forever home. My foster parents say I am the gentlest of my whole litter. I don't nibble, I just lick. I love to give kisses!! I also love to play with toys and my foster brothers - one is a huge German Shepherd and the other is a small Cockapoo - so I guess that's why they say I'm good with big and small dogs. I also live with cats at the moment and they don't bother me one bit. I want to play with them but then get disinterested pretty quickly. Cats are just no fun. I'm working on potty training and doing pretty well. I'm a smart boy who would be so excited to give you all the love I have!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tate, a Thousand Oaks American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Thousand Oaks, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Thousand Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Thousand Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Thousand Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Thousand Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
