Fergus's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

I am a handsome, sweet and calm boy that is looking for my forever home. I am very playful and have an adorable floppy puppy run. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Louisiana along with my sister where our time was up. I live with my foster family that includes 2 children whom I love to play and snuggle with and I am working diligently on my manners so I don’t jump up on them! I am a beautiful Catahoula with soulful brown eyes and a beautiful red merle coat. I am around 6 months old and will reach my full potential of approx. 60 lbs. I’m also crate trained. I love life and am looking for a home that will give me lots of love and exercise. Being a Catahoula I am intelligent, gentle, energetic, loving, inquisitive, independent, and can be strong willed. $250 adoption fee applies. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and vaccinated. Adoptions start with a 30-day trial and if it's not a good fit during that period, we will refund 75% of the adoption fee. *We frequently get blocked by spam filters. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fergus, a Seahurst Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog puppy from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
