Raymond Jones (RJ)'s Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Raymond Jones (RJ, for short) was just brought up here from a shelter in Alabama. He'd been in there for a long time since no one was interested in him and we just can't understand why!! He's a very sweet and affectionate young boy who loves everyone. He's 7.5 months old and weighs 29 lbs right now. He's a bit underweight, but is not going to be a large dog. He saw a cat at the vet and does not appear to be eager to make friends with one, so he's hoping for a cat free home! $225 adoption fee applies. All of our adoptions start with a 30-day trial period, and if it's not a good fit during that time, 75% of the adoption fee is refundable. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped prior to adoption. Thank you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raymond Jones (RJ), a Seahurst Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
