Poppy's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Poppy is a 2-3 year old adorable American Staffordshire Terrier who was found wandering the streets. She had recently had puppies and was obviously dumped and looking for them. Poppy gets along very well with dogs, but mostly just really loves to be with her people. She is quite the snuggler and an overall happy girl. As you can see in the picture, she even likes bath time! She is currently working on her leash and potty training, but is very smart and eager to learn. Poppy is up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and will be spayed very soon. Adoption fee applies.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Poppy, a Seahurst American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
