Rocco's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Rocco, he is a 2 year old Bull Mastiff-Pitbull Mix. Rocco would be great in a home with other dogs, cats, or just by himself. He is a larger dog weighing in at 110 pounds, so having a stronger owner is probably best. He does walk great on a leash and has great manners and loves his dog park adventures. He is definitely lazy, really just wanting a place to lay or a lap to rest his head on, however he does like to snore so watch out guys he might have you beat as the loudest snorer in the house. He is at home in his crate as much as he is sleeping on the couch. Rocco is a sweet, gentle giant and would make his new guardian very happy. He is allergic to chicken so would just have to be fed food and treats that are chicken free. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped. Adoption Fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocco, a Seahurst Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
