Beethoven's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Our special Beethoven came to us already blind when his family no longer wanted him and planned to put him to sleep. We made sure he was healthy and hoped that with could obtain the surgery to restore his sight. But that is not to be. The eye doctor informed us that his condition could not be reversed and he is to be blind for the rest of his life. Even though we were disappointed, Beethoven accepted his fate a long time ago with the grace and attitude of a winner. This boy wags his tail constantly and doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He walks into a room and brings joy to all in it. He is not a special needs dog to us but a special dog. Beethoven is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Come and meet this loving, sweet dog and he will touch your heart, too. Adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beethoven, a Seahurst Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
