Brigid's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Brigid was rescued from a local shelter where she was brought in as a stray. Originally thought to be about 10 years old by the shelter, our vet didn't think she was that old. The estimate is she is about 5 - 6 years old. Brigid is a nice girl who gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being with people. Running around playing and interacting is one of her favorite past times. As with our other rescues, we encourage on-going training for the purpose of bonding and solidifying rules to ensure a happy future. At this time we are not certain if she is housetrained. Brigid is microchipped, spayed and vaccinated. Adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brigid, a Seahurst Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
