Patches's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Patches and his siblings were to be sold with little concern for the kind of home they would be put into. Saved from this situation they now seek safe placement with families who will love and care for them for the rest of their lives. Patches is a playful puppy who is active, curious and just discovering that Hound voice of his. Sweet natured and ready for life's adventures he will add joy and special memories to a caring family. Being a puppy, proper obedience training and enforcement is a must for both dog and human(s). He is neutered, wormed and vaccinated. Prior to release he will also be microchippped. Adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Seahurst Basset Hound/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/American Bulldog for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Basset Hound/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/American Bulldog breeders who help with Basset Hound/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
