Bart's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Bart was clearly a neglected dog who wandered into a neighbor's yard. He was covered with fleas (and flea bites) on his back and neck, had heavily calloused elbows, missing patches of hair, extremely long nails and a collar so tight it wore out the fur around his neck. Even with this disregard for his well being he is still very friendly with other dogs and loves to be with people. He is now being fostered with a family with numerous dogs and is thriving. His skin and ear infections are clearing up and all he needs now is a loving home to be a part of. We are not sure how he will do with cats. Bart will make a wonderful addition to a family who wants a companion to spend time with and be loyal to and be loyal to him in return. He is approximately 7 - 10 years old. Adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bart, a Seahurst Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Seahurst, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Seahurst.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seahurst already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seahurst breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seahurst paves the way for another one to be saved.
