Here's what the humans have to say about me:
You saw her picture, right? Do we really need to say more? Between her stellar temperament and her gorgeous mush face, Bettie Page is pure perfection wrapped up in one adorable, stocky bully package. Not only is she is exceptionally social and engaging with people of all ages (she ADORES kids) but our English Bulldog/Boxer girl is also wonderful with other dogs and cats. In true bully puppy style, she is a bit of a rough and tumble player so she is looking for a sturdy dog friend, if she will be sharing her home. When she's not playing, our 75lb. goofball is happiest giving kisses, snuggling up with her people and offering her paw to any passerby. She is also actively pursuing her dream of becoming a professional belly rub getter. Yep, even in the middle of the high kill shelter, she didn't think twice about throwing herself at our feet for a belly rub. At only a year and a half, Bettie has already been diagnosed with the beginning stages of hip dysplasia so her forever family should be dedicated to keeping her at a healthy weight and giving her joint supplements and pain meds when needed. BP has been seen by two vets and both agree that no further treatment is needed at this time. Bettie is housebroken but has been known to cause a little mischief if left to her own devices so crating her will be important in her new home. Miss Page is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting our bully pin up girl, please fill out an application at ruffstarthappytails.org.
