Loona's Story...
We have no idea why no one came to pick up Loona at the shelter. Picked up as a stray, she sat and waited. When we saw her, we knew that we would find her a family to call her own. She is a large dog, weighing in at about 60 or so pounds, and is about 10-12 months old. She gets along very well with other dogs, large and small. She is also good around cats. Her foster family has very young children, and she has been awesome around and with all the kids. She is potty trained. We've been working on her leash manners, and have her in a harness now. She's still has a lot of puppy in her, but also has the ability to calm down quite nicely. If you are looking for a fun dog to join your family, Loona is looking for you!!!

As part of your adoption package, each dog will be fully vaccinated (Da2PP, Rabies), have a microchip, and be spayed/neutered. If the dog is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, you will be required to transport the dog to/from the drop-off point on surgery day. Each dog will be heartworm tested, and you will receive 6 mths of preventative HW medication. You will receive a free bag of premium dog food, and if you live in the designated zip codes, you will also receive a $25 gift card from Choice Pet Market. You are also entitled to 2 FREE training sessions with our trainers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loona, a Chandler Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
