My name is Dena and I urgently need to find a new home. My current owner is moving on October 10. If I’m not adopted before then, I’ll be dropped off at the Humane Society. Eek! Please don’t let this happen. I’d be a great addition to your life. I’m a super friendly kitty. I love attention – bring it on, please. Love to play – with toys, people or other kitties. I love interacting with people and am very social. A party is not complete without me there. I can’t help it – people just can’t get enough of me . When I’m not snuggling or playing, I’m very helpful around the house. I’ll be there when you’re putting sheets on the bed (so much fun!) or folding clothes (so inviting!). If you have love to share with a kitty – please consider me (and quickly, please!).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dena, a Oakland Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
