My name is Sasha and I urgently need to find a new home. My current owner is moving on October 10. If I’m not adopted before then I’ll be dropped off at the Humane Society. Eek! Please don’t let this happen. I’m a very gentle, affectionate kitty. I’ll even let you know that I’m in the mood for some snuggles by giving you head butts to get your attention. I’m most comfortable in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. One of my favorite activities is hiding – I can’t resist blankets and sheets. At night I’ll keep you company while you sleep by curling up at your feet and sleeping with you all night. I couldn’t live with myself if your feet were to get chilly while you sleep . If you think I could be the kitty for you – please act quickly. My free days are limited.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sasha, a Oakland Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
