Loulabelle's Story...

Hey y’all, my name is Loulabelle. It’s pretty, don’t you think? Well, I’m a pretty girl. I’ve got gorgeous smoky silver fur and dark red lips and, as you can see from my photo, the sweetest little face you’ve ever seen. I’m about 9-10 months old so still a little girl with a high-pitched squeak for a voice and lot of growing to do. I’m a little skittish when you first meet me but settle down quickly. I’m very playful and enjoy pompoms on a string and the TurboScratcher. I enjoy spending the night on the bed (unless I’m tempted to play the TurboScratcher in the middle of the night, which I will admit has been known to happen). Oh, and I really love to play with other kitties. Mostly, I’m just a sweet little girl who needs a home. Is it with you? I have been spayed, microchipped, tested negative and am up to date on all my shots.

Other Pets at Maine Coon Adoptions

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loulabelle, a Oakland Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
