found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, housetrained, and up to date with shots.
My name is Lucy and, boy oh boy, have I been through a tough time. I was abandoned in a warehouse where I was found completely emaciated and covered in grease and grime. Now I’m in the Berkeley shelter and they have cleaned me up and fed me but now it’s time to find a new home – and soon as it’s kitten season and I will end up cooped up in a cage if I can’t find at least a foster home soon. I have had a thorough health check and all the blood tests came back perfect and normal. I’m just 6-8 years old and have beautiful gray medium-length hair. It does appear that I’m blind but, here’s the thing, it really doesn’t bother me. I get around great on my own and am really unfazed by things. I’m a real love and really love to be held and get lots of attention. In short, I’m a real sweetheart who has come through some tough times with a great spirit and am hoping that now it’s my time for some good luck. If you can’t adopt me, maybe you can at least foster me until I can find the right home. Either way, I need to get out of here soon and distance isn’t an issue as there is transportation available all over the state.
