Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diesel is a sweet, adorable 4 year old mini-Australian Shepherd. He did not have the best early experience in life -- Little Diesel has come such a long way in the time since he was dumped at the shelter. He is a sweet happy little fellow at home. He likes people and wants to trust. It is just hard for him. HIS PAST: Diesel was purchased as a puppy and his family decided to leave him in their back yard for three years with little socialization. Then they decided he was too much trouble and dropped him off at a kill shelter. THE GOOD: Diesel is a sweet boy. His whole body wiggles when he sees you. He loves to cuddle on the couch and is good with my dogs and cats. He walks well on leash. He is fully vetted and up to date. He weighs 26 lbs and is a mini Australian Shepherd. HIS CHALLENGES: Diesel is still very shy. He has come a long way but is still afraid of loud noises. He does better if you take it slow with him but are confident in how you move and behave. HIS NEEDS: Diesel needs "his" person. He desperately wants to bond with someone and trust - he just hasn't had much reason to up until now. He needs a quiet environment with an adult or adults who really want to work with him and give him the time he needs. Please share far and wide with your trusted contacts who might be willing to give Diesel a chance. This poor sweetheart has had a rough start, but now it's his turn to see that life can be ful of love and wonderment--will that be with you? If you would like to make Diesel a part of your world, please copy and paste this link to your web browser,http://members.petfinder.com/~CT243/sampleform.html. Vetting includes neuter, shots and worming. Full vetting and transport up north included in his $450 adoption fee.
