Abraham's Story...
We don't know a lot about Abraham's past, but we are hoping to give him a bright future. He is early in training and has great potential. He would do amazing amazing with an experienced trainer to show him the way. He is looking for a home with no cats (too fun to chase) or small children. He would love a similar sized female dog to wrestle with...if she's dominate all the better!
Abraham is a blue Pit Bull Terrier. His approximate DOB was 8/14/13 and his date of arrival was 2/10/15. Please fill out an application at www.bellwetherharbor.org or contact the shelter at 231-924-9230.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abraham, a Fremont American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Fremont, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Fremont.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fremont already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fremont breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fremont paves the way for another one to be saved.
