Honey's Story...
Honey Bunny is a sweetheart! She loves everyone she meets. She is small in stature, weighing in at just under 30 pounds. She was surrendered to a shelter by owners who had no time for her. She did live with other dogs. She gets along with some dogs she meets. She would probably chase cats. She was reported to be housebroken and good with kids- She lived with a 4 year old child. Honey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Consider opening your heart and your home to this little pup- you will not be disappointed. For more information, visit www.halfwayhounds.org and fill out an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Honey, a Park Ridge Chihuahua/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Park Ridge, or seeking a Chihuahua/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Park Ridge.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Park Ridge already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Park Ridge breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Chihuahua/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Park Ridge paves the way for another one to be saved.
