This sweet young thing was dropped off at the shelter with a badly matted coat. As a result, Lacey got her summer cut a wee bit early this year. Lacey seems not too bothered by it as long as she has a pretty flower in her hair so everyone will be sure she is a girl.

Lacey is a 1 year old, 14 pound, Maltese/Poodle mix. She is shy when meeting new people but will quickly bond once she feels safe. Lacey enjoys the company of humans and canines alike and is both potty and crate trained in her foster home making her a great companion for her new family.

Our adoption fee for Lacey is $300 and includes her spay, vaccines, microchip, treatment for fleas and worms and best of all, lots of love and socialization in her foster home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Irvine Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
