My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DIXIE came to us as a stray who was terrified of living outside of a cage. She has learned to be a dog and under the careful guidance of our volunteers and has become a toy hoarder (soo cute). We suspect she was born, bred and lived in a crate all of her life prior to her rescue. She has made HUGE strides and is ready for an adoption/foster with patience and understanding since she is still somewhat fearful, Dixie is a maltese, approximately 6 years old, fully vetted, super sweet and will do best in a quiet home with another small dog. Dixie is still working on potty training. There will be an application and a home visit for each potential adopter. An adoption donation of $300.00 or more is appreciated.
