Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sophia is on her way to her new home! To see her adoption photo, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on Happy Endings in 2015.
Sophia is a 10 year old female that came from a shelter. Sophia does well with other dogs and cats too. She is a well behaved dog. she doesn't chew things or get into trouble. she is happy to look out the window, take a nap, get cuddles, or follow her foster mom around. She is not much interested in going in a crate. she sleeps quietly all night on floor by her foster mom. She seems to be an easy dog. She does not know come, or any other dog things. She does not pull on leash. If you would like to be considered to adopt Sophia, you must first apply. Then please contact linda@schnauzerrescue.net. If you've already applied, please contact linda@schnauzerrescue.net to be added to the list of those being considered. To apply on-line, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on the on-line application. Rescue Schnauzers usually weigh between 15-25 pounds, they are up to date on shots, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered prior to placement. We make reasonable efforts to evaluate the health and temperament of each dog, however we cannot make any guarantees. We are not a shelter and do not have a central facility. All dogs are kept in foster homes located throughout the area we cover. PLEASE NOTE: We rescue schnauzers in Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC and southern Pennsylvania. We can only accept applications within a reasonable driving distance of our areas of coverage. Please read the list at the top of the on-line application to see if you are in our area. For a rescue contact in other areas, please go to our website http://www.schnauzerrescue.net and click on Rescue Links. We have a need for volunteers in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Our website also features lots of great information about the rescue process, book reviews and training tips - plus the best schnauzer items for purchase! All proceeds benefit schnauzers in need. Thanks for your support!
