Shaugnessy's Story...
I really am handsome with my chocolate coat and one blue eye but I do not photograph well. People who come out here will say wow he is a great looking dog. Not only am a great looking I am well trained - I like most other dogs but there are a few here that get my Irish up - they started it, not me!. They never liked me since the day I came I guess because they can see our caregiver loves me! I am only one of two out here that will only potty on the grass or in the play area all the other places are a no no. I think I am 4 years old -I love the little people who walk me and fuss over me. I am just soo good any little smiles from me get the wee ones giggling up a storm. It must be the fact that I make all these faces that are funny- I know how to entertain after all I am Shaugnessy!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shaugnessy, a Marseilles German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Husky for sale in Marseilles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Husky dog from a breeder in Marseilles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marseilles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marseilles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Husky breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marseilles paves the way for another one to be saved.
