Clancy was found wandering the streets in NW Houston. No one came forward in response to multiple posters, so this handsome boy came to HBHR to find a new home. Clancy is a perfect 25 pounds to go with his 14 inch frame. He has a thick brown coat that looks almost purple in the sun light!

When you watch this boy run across the yard, you can tell that he hasn’t left puppyhood too far behind. Clancy loves to play. Anyone, anybody! He plays as well with larger dogs as he does with the puppy of the pack. Clancy enjoys all the games, but excels at chase and wrestling! This guy is the sweet heart of the pack. He is everyone’s friend and he makes sure that no one gets left out of the fun.

Clancy’s house manners are very good. He has the freedom of the house with use of a dog door. He has never gotten into anything that didn’t belong to him. He has had some problem with marking but that is resolving after his neuter. He does enjoy sleeping on the big bed at night but is not a bed hog. Clancy will sleep on a dog bed when asked.

Clancy does like to get his share of the attention. He is always front and center anytime pets are being given out. He prefers to lie next to you on your chair or on the couch for TV watching. Clancy is a sweet and loving boy who will make some family very happy, but he will need a canine buddy who shares his love of play to be a happy boy and to stay out of trouble.
