My story

Hi, my name is Batman. If you look closely at my ears, you'll see how I got my name! I was found as a stray at 4 months old and lived at a shelter in downstate Illinois until I was 8 months and Chicagoland Dog Rescue saved me. I was a staff favorite because I got along so well with other dogs and people. One of my favorite things is to be held and at the end of the day, be a couch potato right next to my person. I also love a good chew on a Nyla bone.
Even though I was a staff favorite in the shelter, there were a lot of other dogs that needed time and attention so I haven't a chance to work on my manners. I tend to be kinda jumpy so a home with small children wouldn't work. I am very energetic and strong and love a good run around the yard with my foster sister and brother. Because I was lost at such a young age, I can be mouthy but I'm working on that too.
I do well in the crate when my foster Mom goes to work during the day. I seem to be potty trained and let her know that I need to go out by crying or go by the door.
While helping me change my puppy ways may take some work, I will give you unconditional love in return!
