Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB March 28th 2013
This gorgeous red haired tabby boy is our special Roscoe. Adored by everyone who has the pleasure to meet him, this young boy at approximately the tender age of two, is just as sweet as he is handsome with his beautifully coloured coat that has a dash of white on his face, soulful green eyes, and an added splash of cute little freckles! Rescued from the harsh outdoors, Roscoe is understandably a little shy and nervous initially, but welcomes gentle petting when approached calmly and slowly, relaxing a great deal once he realizes that you want to be his friend. Roscoe does have an inverted zyphoid sternum which causes him no pain, requires no medication or veterinary care, and is just another characteristic of this handsome fella that just makes him all that much more unique. He does enjoy play time but also enjoys the warmth and comfort of lazing, and so he can often be found stretched out in one of his favourite spots, taking in all that may be going on around him. Quiet and unassuming, Roscoe gets along with other cats just fine and may really benefit from having a feline friend in his new home as we believe it may help him to settle in quicker, although kittens would likely cause him stress. Roscoe’s forever home would ideally be a quiet environment without small children or dogs and with someone that would recognize the importance of allowing him to settle in at his own pace, and could be patient with him during that transition. In turn, we can promise that whoever is fortunate enough to adopt this adorable boy will be rewarded with a very special little friend.
Lastly, a generous anonymous donor has stepped forward to offer the funds for Roscoe’s adoption fee, which TCR (and Roscoe) are indeed grateful for
