Thelma - Suzie Pup's Story...
Thelma is a Chihuahua/Terrier mix who was born on 1/27/2015. She is a little scrap of a thing right now – weighing less than 3 lbs. She is working on pee pad training but may still have accidents in the house if given too much room to roam. She loves playing with other dogs and kids. Thelma is with her sister, Louise, and is really enjoying the sibling playtime. They can tire each other out and then nap in the crate together. She is good in the car and fine about being in a dog carrier. Thelma is a chewer so clear the decks! She has to be always chewing something so don’t say you haven’t been warned. She may grow out of this as she grows up – or not.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thelma - Suzie Pup, a Encino Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Encino, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
