Corbett's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Corbett's Story...
This beautiful orange tabby was rescued from a very high kill shelter and was on the kill list for no real reason. We rescued him, fully vetted him and discovered he was FIV +. FIV is not a serious disease and such cats will lead normal lives. The only alert is to prevent deep biting among other cats in the same home and to keep the cat indoors. Corbett is a real sweet boy who just wants to be around people. also very talkative, he makes adorable little chirps and grunts. He begs to have attention lavished on him and cries when you leave him alone. He loves catnip!!! Come meet Corbett if you are looking for a kitty companion who wants to be your best friend.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Corbett, a Riverside Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Riverside, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Riverside.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Riverside already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Riverside breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Riverside paves the way for another one to be saved.
