Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Did you know I'm named after a girl race car driver? I think that's pretty cool!D When I'm running around the back yard, I pretend I'm driving in a NASCAR race. vROOm! I think I'd really like to hang out with a forever family, watching TV and just being together. Then maybe we could go for a nice, long walk or to the dog park. I know I didn't race as long as the other dogs, but I'm still super excited to start my pet life. I'm tiny, so I won't eat as much as those HUGE greyhounds living next door to me. I'll be good if you teach me how to be good. PLEEEEEASE pick me! In the mean time, I'll be dreaming about you...
Dani is 3. She appears to do OK with small dogs and cats.
FOSTER UPDATE:
Danica has adjusted well to my home. I think she enjoys a quiet home, with another doggie buddy. She loves to play with toys-rubber & stuffies, go on walks & to lay in her crate.
Danica lets you know when she has to go out by going to the door. If at night she wakes you up with a little whimper. She doesn't like thunderstorms even with a thunder shirt on. I am still working with her on getting in and out of the car, but she rides well once inside.
Danica is fine when left home with my greyhound. However, she has some separation anxiety when we both leave. We are working on that and she has done well being left alone for an hour, with the tv or radio on and a hard, rubber chew toy to occupy her.
She is a real sweet, give kisses and I've seen her sit a couple of times. Danica will be a great addition to a quiet home with another dog.
