Zandie's Story...
Zandie hasn't had the best of luck lately. Zandie was rescued from an area animal control where she was on the euthanasia list. When the shelter reached out to us for help, we were happy to give this sweet girl a second chance at life. Zandie is such a sweet girl and she is doing well in her foster home, where she has been since we rescued her. Zandie's foster family has taught her some basic manners. Zandie has learned how to use the doggie door and does well with her potty manners in the house. She is a good with people and she particularly loves her foster dad! Zandie gets along well with other dogs. Her foster mom reports that she is not showing any signs of dominance or aggression and they have yet to hear her bark. Zandie loves to play outside. She is leash trained and likes going for walks. If you've wanted to adopt a medium-sized dog and can provide the love and home Zandie craves, we know she will spend the rest of her life thanking you. Zandie is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and heartworm tested. Hurry over to ITVRescue.org and complete the online adoption application. Zandie is anxious to meet you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zandie, a Evansville Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Evansville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Evansville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evansville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evansville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evansville paves the way for another one to be saved.
