Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Leona is one happy 5 month old Terrier mix. She loves going for walks, playing fetch with her many toys and making toys squeak. She has a good appetite and barks for her food. Leona is house trained, as long as she gets outside often. She is pretty regular and predictable, if you pay attention. Leona gets very excited to meet new people, children and other dogs. Also, she is a little “nippy,” since she is a puppy. She will stop when she hears “no bite.” The foster family believes the “nippy” behavior will pass as she matures. One of Leona’s favorite things is to sit near you when you read or watch TV. She will snuggle her head near you and go to sleep.
Leona has been in foster care to receive medicine and special baths for a skin condition, which has cleared. She's back at Friendship waiting for a new home. Stop by and check out this sweetie pie!
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
