COLOMBO's Story...
03/26/2015 - MEET COLOMBO!!! Colombo along with his 2 sisters Caraway & Pepper and 2 brothers Mace & Milan all came to Big Hearts 4 Paws Rescue from a high kill shelter in South Florida several weeks ago. All the puppies have fantastic personalities...they love to run outside when it's play time and then curl in your lap when it's time to rest. They love their doggy door. They were born on 2/7/15 and will be 8 weeks and available for adoption on Saturday April 4th.
For more information on Colombo, please email bighearts4pawsrescue@yahoo.com.

Our puppies are spayed or neutered, current on vaccines/deworming, microchipped and have flea/tick prevention applied. Our adoption donation is $250.00 for our puppies. Adopting a dog is a lifetime commitment. Are you ready for a new found friend???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

COLOMBO, a Wellington American Staffordshire Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Wellington, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier puppy from a breeder in Wellington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wellington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wellington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wellington paves the way for another one to be saved.
