Zelda's Story...
Hi, I'm Zelda. I'm probably a pit/boxer mix. Everyone tells me I'm pretty; I'm fawn and blue with blue/grey eyes. I'm liking my foster home---I have lots of friends to play with here. My foster mommy is really impressed with how I'm doing at going outside to go potty. I was having a lot of accidents in my crate but I've decided I don't like that. I sleep all night, foster mommy gave me lots of cuddle blankets. I'm gonna be a big girl so need someone who can handle me. I've been good with kids and don't care about cats right now. I'm really hoping my new family comes quick, I have lots of cuddles to share. I will need training because I want to be a smart dog and show off. Come meet me soon!!

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
