Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We have a beige male chinchilla that is looking for his new home. He came to the rescue about a month ago, and was born on approx. 1/4/2014. This makes him right around 3 months old.
This male is very sweet. He’s does well with being handled and petted, and loves his hay. He does not bite.
He is currently living alone, but he did live with other chinchillas before, and they got along great. He probably would get along with other chinchillas again, but we cannot make any guarantees as to whether he would get along with your chinchilla.
This chinchilla would make a good “first chinchilla” for someone who’s never had chinchillas before.
This chinchilla will come with some food to start you out (2 pounds of Mazuri pellets), a goodie bags of chews/treats, and a printed out version of our care packet. They will also come with a lifetime of help and support, should you ever need it. If more supplies are needed, we also sell a variety of chinchilla supplies, from cages to hidey houses to hammocks and everything in between.
Regardless of past chinchilla experience, all potential homes will be asked to read our chinchilla care packet, fill out our adoption application/chinchilla questionnaire, and provide proof of cage. If you are unwilling to do these things, please do not waste our time or yours. No chinchilla will go to a new home without an adoption application being filled out - no exceptions.
