BILLIE's Story...
BILLIE is one of four pups given up to PAW FUND when their owner needed help placing them in good homes. These pups are happy, and super social. BILLIE, who is the only girl of the four loves other dogs and is affectionate with people.
All of these pups will make great family pets, but we would prefer to place them in homes with other dogs for company and in homes with an active lifestyle where the dogs are not left alone too long.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BILLIE, a Emeryville Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Emeryville, or seeking a Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Emeryville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Emeryville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Emeryville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Cairn Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Emeryville paves the way for another one to be saved.
