Blake is small, inquisitive and gets along well with other cats. She seems wary of dogs, but may be able to adjust to a calm canine sibling. She once escaped from a cage and hid within the shelter for over a month, only coming out secretly to use the litterbox and to eat. She is likely to do this in her new home as well until she adjusts, feels safe and learns to trust her new environment and her new family. She seemed more relaxed in adjusting to a smaller room, so we recommend that her new family start her in one room before allowing her access to the entire house. At this time, she enjoys lounging in a colony room with other cats and can be seen perched on a cat tree or looking out the window with a friend.
