My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Foster Location: Boise, ID

Meet Gidget whose name fits her perfectly as the name Gidget is a blend of "girl" and "midget". Our girl Gidget may not be into surfing but she is one fun loving girl with a huge heart! This 3 year old Lynx Point Siamese is a dream and she has the most stunning blue eyes we have ever seen!

Gidget is a funny girl who LOVES to be loved on. She will follow you around the house just in case you might want to pet her; she loves to lay either on your lap, next to you or at the very least within a few feet. Heck she is so friendly with everyone that she runs to the front door when someone knocks – she wants to be the first to say hi! She is so friendly and social she would do great in almost any household.

This girl is so social that she doesn’t seem to have meet a human or animal stranger. She gets along great with other cats and loves dogs! She can frequently be found rubbing up against and grooming one of the dogs in her foster home. And she is even great with the senior cat in her foster home who hates her; Gidget just gives her space and walks away when she gets snarled at. Gidget does do better with at least 1 other animal in the home; she will not do well as the only pet in the home. Please note that Gidget has no fear of dogs so if you have a dog and want to adopt Gidget your dog must be extremely cat friendly.

Easy going, friendly and has great house manners, what more can you ask for. She learned very quickly that she was not allowed on the kitchen counters; in a new home she may need a quick reminder though. Gidget likes to take long naps in one of her cozy cat beds, like to sit with her people and loves to give affection!

This lovely girl was a Fuzzy Pawz foster over a year ago and we were alerted that she had been dumped in a local shelter rather than being returned to us. Sadly the previous owners had her declawed (also against our contract) and Gidget has put on some weight and is no longer long and lithe. However a great diet, a clumping litter and Gidget will be fine in a loving home who will do right by her. You can bet we will be extra careful choosing her next home!

If you are looking for a cat that wants and needs to be loved and you want a cat that has a ton of love to give please consider giving Gidget not just a place in your home but a place in your heart, you won’t regret it.

To meet Gidget and get some kitty kisses, simply fill out an adoption application with Fuzzy Pawz Rescue at http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/
