Quasi's Story...
Over thirteen pounds of lumbering love, Quasi is at time magnificent, at times ridiculous. His Persian face and big round belly make him, as his name suggests, partly this, partly that. This quiet, friendly, tolerant adult was abandoned by his owners, declawed, and sought shelter under a neighbor’s porch. We fear his previous home was not very fun, as he likes to play, but doesn’t seem very experienced. Quasi’s a very sweet, adorable cat with a commanding presence. He will love as much attention as you can give him, but he is self-sufficient when you are busy. What more to say? Just look his face. How could you say no? Quasi was born in 2009.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Quasi, a Chicago Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
