Delilah's Story...
Name: Delilah
Breed: Pit bull
Sex: Female
DOB: 3-12-12

Hi! My name is Delilah and I have been at the shelter for nearly two years now....longer than anyone else at my shelter. I see them come and go, and I don't know why I keep getting overlooked. I'm a super fun girl! I came in with my sister, and she was adopted a year ago. I love to play and cuddle. Car rides are soo much fun to me!! I like dogs and kids. I need a yard with a fence. My shelter family raised enough money to help me get the hip surgery I needed to feel better. I've been through so much, and I dream every night that my new family will find me! Please come meet me soon! I need a break from the shelter and a comfy couch with a sweet family to love me!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Delilah, a St. Francisville Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in St. Francisville, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in St. Francisville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St. Francisville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St. Francisville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St. Francisville paves the way for another one to be saved.
